LANCET SOFTWARE™ NAMED "2007 MICROSTRATEGY MID-MARKET RESELL PARTNER OF THE YEAR" IN NORTH AMERICA; MID-MARKET STRENGTHS, CUSTOMER SERVICE, INNOVATION AND POST-SALES SUPPORT EARN AWARD FROM GLOBAL BI PROVIDER
BURNSVILLE, MN - February 6, 2008 - Lancet Software has been awarded the "2007 MicroStrategy Mid-Market Resell Partner of the Year" in North America from a leading global provider of Business Intelligence (BI) software. In making the selection, MicroStrategy cited four key elements that differentiated Lancet from other resellers of MicroStrategy's leading business tools, according to Shankar Ganapathy, Vice President of Channels, North America for MicroStrategy.

"Lancet Software stood out in the marketplace in 2007 in four main areas: First, Lancet completed a 10-year business partnership with MicroStrategy late in 2007. Second, Lancet was highly successful in reselling MicroStrategy 8 Business Intelligence software in the mid-market last year both from a revenue performance and a customer acquisition standpoint. Lancet drove more new customers into MicroStrategy's mid-market program than any other reseller. Third, existing and new customers gave Lancet very high marks when it came to customer service and post-sales support. Finally, the team at Lancet did a great job innovating new approaches to better sell in the mid-market via new service offerings such as LancetCoach™ that have shown mid-market customers a clear path to adopting BI successfully. We are happy to honor the company with this first annual Mid-Market Resell Partner Award in North America and we look forward to working with them in the years ahead."

Ganapathy also lauded the company's co-hosting of MicroStrategy's hands-on "Introduction to BI" class targeted at mid-market companies. The BI tutorial class was offered at Lancet's new training facility. "It's important to recognize strategic contributors who can educate and help train the growing MicroStrategy mid-market customer base," Ganapathy added. "It's an area of growth potential for our company and we feel that the program is considerably strengthened via business partners like Lancet that readily understand the necessity of educating companies about the business objectives that a solid BI program can achieve." "Our company is thrilled to receive this award from MicroStrategy," says Tom Niccum, Lancet co-founder and president. "It affirms all the hard work and years of training that our experienced staff has under its belt after a decade of working with companies who understand how valuable BI can be to their bottom line. We look forward to working in partnership with MicroStrategy in driving the continued adoption of BI by small and medium-sized organizations. Using BI tools as a business strategy is becoming a necessity not just for large corporations but for all companies engaged in competition."

The award is the latest recognition Lancet Software has received for its stellar performance in 2007. The 10-year-old company placed 36th on the annual "Fast 50" list published by The Business Journal, with 46% growth over the year. Revenue has risen 85.63% over three consecutive years with the increasing demand for Business Intelligence solutions. Showing a history of steady growth, Lancet grew at 22% in 2004 and 28% in 2005.
