During the envisioning phase we identify what you want to do and why, who is impacted, how the solution will be used, and how it will be implemented. This phase also addresses technology and organizational issues, team members roles and responsibilities, success factors, and acceptance criteria.
During the Envisioning Phase we answer questions such as:
- What do we want to accomplish?
- Who are we doing the project for? Who will use it?
- What is the priority of this project compared to other initiatives we have going on in our business?
- How will we approach overall priorization - will it be based on a calendar date? Budget? Features?
- What kind of expertise and skillsets do we need to accomplish the goals of the project?
- Are we going to need help from people outside our organization?
- What are the major goals of the project?
- How will we measure the project's success?
